Your design is printed on an electroluminescent (or “EL”) panel, made of a thin vinyl material with phosphorant inks. Your design is backlit into programmed lighting sequences.
The panel is plugged into a battery pack to power the lighting display. You can easily plug and unplug the panel if you need to remove from a garment to wash.
The EL Panel is powered by your choice of battery pack or inverter (uses 2 AAA or USB rechargeable batteries). Choose from a long cable ribbon (standard), or an upgraded “wireless” option where the battery pack is adhered to the back side of the light up panel.
An EL (Electroluminescent) Panel is a thin, flexible sheet made from a vinyl material that lights up when connected to a battery pack. It can be printed with your custom design and animated in up to 5 backlit frames.
Yes! Your printed design remains visible even when the panel is off. When powered on, the colors within your design illuminate for a glowing effect.

EL Panels can be made as small as 2" x 2" or up to 7.25" x 7.25" or 8" x 5". We’ll recommend the best size based on your design to ensure maximum brightness and performance. For larger light-up displays, we recommend checking out our EL Poster products.
Anywhere! Use velcro, adhesive, or stitching to add it to costumes, backpacks, clothing, walls, signs, or props. The panels are lightweight and highly versatile.
